Hope everyone had a good time at the last session! Sorry i couldn't make it. The forum seems to be going strong, so i encourage everyone to go in and post up some crits and some pictures. Thanks everyone for getting this site going.
I'm currently working on the look of the forum and getting the "Idea Box" working. I'm also getting the pages that aren't done or outdated up and updated.

Ok so another sketchbook session is upon us and I have lots to talk about.. It's been a crazy month for alot of us as we had books to finish then comicon to get to and now we are home and tryin to put things back in order so that we can get back to normal.. whatever that may be... anyhoozle!
NEWS Part 1 - Session stuff
I am happy to announce that the sessions will more than likely be growing again since at comic con we met soo many people, so as we grow lets all remember to draw in books we've not drawn in yet and to be open and nice as people were when we were all new!
This session should be really good for a few reasons...
1. Pretty much everyone just got back from Comic Con and will probably have lots of stories.
2. I have some things I want to discuss with the sessions members ( that being all who attend) about stepping the sessions up ... as in ..
A. Hiring a clothed theme model
B. Early and other weekend zoo trips
C. The possibility of beginning to go on other kinds of field trip type things...
SESSION BIG PAPER... has been neglected lately so Im giving you all a heads up on the theme.. think it over now or keep it in the back of your melon .. whatever.. but here it is...
"Ridiculously Lame Villiany Gang"
We'll be putting together a gang of the most Sad, Wack, Horrible, Pitiful,Lame, Stupid and weak villians this time around.. Should be good ( the superhero paper project a while back spwaned some really great stuff hopin this may go in the same general direction )
CONTEST(S) Ive been thinkin about a few things.. I do have quite a few really great prizes I have been sittin on and so prepare yourself to hit at least one or 2 pages for the sessions contest
NEWS Part 2 - Comic Con 2003..
Thank you to everyone that supported us this year.. I think for our first year we did really well.. I personally am really happy with our accomplishments as a group and as individuals and am proud to be part of this fantastic family!
If you missed picking up any of the books.. Bulljive.. Toon's Gone Wild.. Zowie!.. Peanutbutter and Monster Sandwich.. or the Group book they will be available at the session for the same prices there were at comic con ( $7 for the individual sketchbooks .. $3 for Zowie! and $10 for the Group sketchbook ) otherwise I believe they'll be available for online order within a week or so depending on how fast we can get this set up....
I want to give a special thank you to Our Neighbors at the Convention.. Ronnie and Enrico it was a real delight sharing space with you and great to get to know you a little bit bettter... and to the MaveriX guys thanks as well and hope to see you all next year ..
It was a blast!!!!!

Comic-con this year was bigger than ever and we met a lot of great artists. Thank you to all that made this year (our first) a complete success, and thank you for all your great sketches, sketchbooks and drawings and for coming to the session.

Only 15 more days till Comic-Con as of today. Everyone aournd here is super bust getting thier sketchbooks to the printers and making final arrangements in preporation for the big show. Looks like we'll make it just in time. I'm cirrently making a page that will house information on all the books you can get at the Con. These book are highly anticipated and in limited numbers. More details on this later...
